Today we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the very first Harry Potter book written by J.K. Rowling. Although the first film would only come out a few years later, we feel like this date is more than worthy of a celebratory post, seeing as that book changed so many of our lives forever. Through magic and wonder, these books exemplified in the best possible way how love, courage and friendship are the most valuable possessions a person can ever have on their journey. We are thankful for the excitement, the laughter and the tears they have provided us, and for all the people we’ve met through this story. Thank you, @jkrowling, for giving us Hermione Granger, the brightest witch of her age. A character that has inspired an entire generation of women to be knowledgeable, loyal and fierce. Congratulations on the 20 years inspiring young wizards and witches around the world to be better people, to treat each other with compassion and kindness, and for teaching us all that sometimes all it takes to change a life is a book.
After all this time? Always.
Disney’s latest box office hit, Beauty and the Beast, is now available for purchase! The film premiered on cinemas worldwide on March 16, 2017, and it is now available on DVD, Blu-Ray and On Demand. You can buy it on iTunes, Amazon (Prime, too), and many other stores. Best Buy seems to have an exclusive SteelBook version that, judging by the pictures, looks really pretty. The Blu-Ray comes with several special features, my favorite being the Enchanted Table Read – which most definitely did not look like most table read videos I’ve seen. We’ve heard many times during the film’s press tour about this experience, and the video features Emma’s waltz – not with her Beast, actor Dan Stevens, but still beautiful. There are also a few deleted scenes with Emma, and a great video about the women in the film.
Our gallery has been updated with screen captures, promotional stills and posters from the film.
While in Paris for the promotion of The Circle, Emma was interviewed by Juliette Delacroix for TF1, and the video was broadcasted live on Facebook. Thanks to Totally Emma Watson on Youtube, we can now share the video with you. Emma sort of summarizes the film’s plot in the best way she can without giving too much away, and says that the subject of how social media influences our lives and what it could become in the future is a “fascinating thing to go and see and talk about”.

Emma attended this Thursday (June 22) a photocall for The Circle in Paris! We’ve added photos from it to the gallery.
