Our 25th version is now online! It’s a special one for me, as it’s the first I designed/coded (almost) entirely on my own. I had been reminiscing about old school layouts, the kind we might have seen when IHW was first launched in 2007, so the header is a little more on that style, as opposed to some clean ones we’ve had in the past. I’m considering the possibility of changing layouts more often, too, and assigning specific themes to them – such as Emma’s characters, specific photoshoots she’s done over the years, maybe even events in which she sported our favorite looks. We’ll see whether my free time (and my patience/desire to play on photoshop) end up contributing to that in the future.
Naturally, we’ve changed our gallery layout to match the main website! I tried a different format on that one, because we’ve had the same type of structure on those for years, and, frankly, I was a little bored of it.
I hope you like our new look (or, in the very least, that you don’t hate it!). Don’t forget to follow @iheartewatson on twitter for updates.
Hello everyone! We finally have a new look on our lovely fansite! It was designed by our friend Nicole, from NWL9 Design, using photos from two sessions Neide and I are very fond of – this one and this one. We hope you like all of it as much as we do!
In 2019, the main project of Emma’s we are looking forward to is the new book adaptation of “Little Women”, directed by Greta Gerwig and featuring the likes of Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Meryl Streep, Laura Dern and Timothee Chalamet. Filming was wrapped up in 2018, and the release date is currently set for Christmas 2019.
The book is considered a classic, and has been adapted to film many times before. If you haven’t read it, our partner fansite saoirse-ronan.com is currently doing a giveaway of a very pretty physical copy, and you can join it by retweeting the tweet below. Good luck!

Today is Harry Potter’s Birthday! It has been known as the International Harry Potter Day, and fans are celebrating all over the world. It also happens to be JK Rowling’s Birthday, and we hope she is having a beautiful one wherever she is! For those of you who don’t know or can’t remember, Harry’s date of birth was a very important detail in the book/film series, mostly because of a prophecy by Sybill Trelawney, which stated that a boy who could defeat Lord Voldemort would soon be born.
“The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches… born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies… and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not… and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives… the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies….”
That, of course, explains why Lord Voldemort spent so much of his increasingly low enegergy after The Chosen One over the course of 7 books and 8 films. Join us in our celebration on Twitter using the hashtag #PotterDay!
