Chanel Pre-Fall Fashion Show

O2 Wireless Music Festival

A little bit of detail and DIY on the O2 Wireless Music Festival dress, accessories, hair and makeup! * Skip to the hair & makeup guide.

Emma turned up at the O2 Wireless Music Festival showing a bit of her bohemian side with a fun printed dress and cool black boots, with a wavy hairstyle and neutral face to match.

Mix'n'Match!: Some of us might not have the guts to wear such a busy dress, but you can get the same look by choosing pieces with other bright fun prints, florals, or a bit of a bohemian vibe. You can include the boots if it's colder or trade them for braided sandals for a more casual look.

Destroyed denim could work here, or if you prefer to keep your jeans intact, you could experiment with a girly skirt for a bit of a contrast - as long as you're not wearing anything on the bottom that's going to compete with what you've got on top, you're good to go!

hair/makeup guide

Emma's look is really effortless with natural hair and minimal makeup. Start with a clean face and add a foundation if you like. You can curl your lashes if you like and apply your fave mascara. Maybelline Great Lash is a great basic mascara that's good quality and super cheap! If you're not a mascara-gloss-and-go kinda girl, you can play up the eyes however you like. Blush is always an option as well - Nars Blush in Orgasm is a pretty universal colour that will give you a natural glow - ha!

To get Emma's playful waves, add a texturizing product to your hair, like Frederic Fekkai Wave-Creating Spray. You can apply it when your hair is wet, or after styling to add a bit of texture for a more beachy look. If you have natural waves, blow dry with a diffuser on the cool setting, or just let your hair dry naturally. If you've got straight locks, plait your hair after squeezing most of the water out (do a French braid so you get closer to the roots as well) and sleep on it. You can do two braids for thicker hair, or just one - it depends on your hair type and also the look you want, so do it however you please! When you take them out in the morning, you'll have gorgeous waves, and your hair will smell especially yummy too! Finish with a smoothing serum like Matrix Biolage.
