Order of the Phoenix London Premiere
A little bit of detail and DIY on the Order of the Phoenix UK Premiere outfit, accessories, hair and makeup!
Emma attended the summer premiere of the Order of the Phoenix in London wearing a navy blue Chanel dress.
Mix'n'Match!: Unfortunately, not all of us can afford Emma's premiere wardrobe, which was almost exclusively Chanel (!!) but it doesn't take big bucks to look just as good. Blue is big for fall, and this navy can be updated for summer by wearing a brighter colour along with the gold accents. She wore a gorgeous and very trendy large cocktail ring and satin navy pumps, which were a good choice because gold shoes would have probably been overkill.
Emma let all the attention fall on her lovely dress and kept her hair in a natural style (at least it looked that way, but I'm sure it took two hours and a curling iron!) with minimal makeup - which wasn't necessary because her skin was glowing with a pretty tan!

Hair/Makeup Guide
Start by applying a shimmery gold eyeshadow over the whole lid. A favourite of mine is Urban Decay Eyeshadow - they have so many colours, and are relatively inexpensive but good quality (speaking on terms of Sephora's collection, of course!) - Jones or Eldorado would work nicely. Next apply a thickening mascara like Dior Diorshow in a classic black to both the top and bottom lashes, but be sure to be really careful with the latter. Girls who weren't blessed with thick lashes could also apply a liquid or pencil liner, whichever you're more comfortable with, to the top lashline, but making sure to do this BEFORE applying mascara! Sephora brand liquid liner goes on smooth and is long lasting as well. Finally, apply a rosy blush for a subtle flush, and additionally a bit of bronzer would help achieve a glow like Emma's. Cargo BeachBlush in Sunset Beach conveniently does both, and I'd imagine it would work on all skintones, as well! Finish off with a bit of your favourite pink gloss, or choose your own colour. The dark colours in the outfit and otherwise subtle makeup would give you the perfect oppourtunity to try out a movie star red lip!
If your hair is naturally nicely waved, let it dry naturally. Frederic Fekkai Wave Creating Spray will help those of us who don't have them naturally, and also help sort them out if you do. If you don't achieve the desired effect, you can use a large barrelled curling iron (1.5 inches would be good) to make them yourself. Finish with Frederic Fekkai Summer Hair Zero-Humidity Frizz Control - tried and tested by me. Not a single frizz to be seen!
