Chanel Pre-Fall Fashion Show

Burberry and Vanity Fair VIP National Gallery Viewing
A little bit of detail and DIY on the Burberry and Vanity Fair VIP National Gallery Viewing dress, accessories, hair and makeup!
Emma wore a ruched beige silk chiffon Burberry Prorsum (from the Spring/Summer 2008 collection) mini dress to the
Burberry and Vanity Fair VIP National Gallery Viewing
Mix'n'Match!:
Surprising us all, Emma teamed a beige mini dress with 4 inch black Burberry Prorsum sandals.
The dress is the talking point. Notice Emma isn't wearing any accessories? If you feel the need the wear some, go for some bronze or gold accessories...remember less is more!
A fan of subtlty, Emma's makeup is clean and fresh. Her hair simple and her style uncluttered. Take all this into account. This is the perfect outfit for a school dance or a posh event with the parents (the kind you can't get away with
wearing your jeans to) or even like Emma- a gallery showing. It all depends on you!

Hair/Makeup Guide
Sweep a neutral coloured eyeshadow over your eyelid, stopping before the brow bone. I recommened Lancome Colour Design Eyeshadow in Filgree. Follow that with mascara, my personal favourite is Chanel Inimitable in noir. Apply one coat at a time, going back and forward between each eye. Otherwise, your mascara with clump and flake giving you the oh so fantastic 'panda eyes'. Next apply a blush, another favourite of mine is Givenchy ‘Prisme Again!’ in #09 Arty Pink. Finally add a slick of lipgloss in a neutral shade. Try something like, Nars Lipgloss in Striptease (a pearlised beige shade). Perfect for keeping in the neutral theme.
If your hair is naturally wavy, let it dry naturally. Frederic Fekkai Wave Creating Spray will help those of us who don't have a natural wave, and also help sort them out if you do. If you don't achieve the desired effect, you can use a large barrelled curling iron (1.5 inches would be good) to make them yourself.
Part your hair slightly off center, using a wide tooth comb, then pulling it loosely back into a ballet bun, with Snagless elastics in a colour closest to your natural hair colour-even if it’s from a bottle ;). Secure some strands with bobby pins (I prefer Lady Jayne, but you can use whatever you fancy) and letting some fall loose. Final give a final spray of hairspray and VOILA!
Hopefully…
