Kaetlyn's Sparklies tutorial

High demand tutorial requested by many people. My infamous trademark - sparklies. Featured on almost every single layout Mystique has ever had. I'll teach you how to do it.

After blending the images I want and adding an effects I want, I'm going to add sparklies to this particular graphic. As you can see, it is simple and sparkly-less.

Now I'm going to use sparkly star brushes from Hybrid Genesis (most likely) and add it to the image like so. Use different brushes and not just one.

Duplicate the layer by pressing "right mouse click" on the sparkly layer and then clicking "Duplicate Layer". The alternate way is to go to "Layer" and then "Duplicate Layer" - click enter, only change things you need/want to change. You'll notice that the sparkles get brighter after duplicating them.

Click on the layer below and then go to "Filter", "Blur" and lastely, "Gaussian Blur" and click okay. Some options should come up. Make sure the ratio is between 5 and 60 (or else is becomes a big white blur). Click "Enter" or "OK".

You might want to fade it out a little, not necessary, but you might. Click the "SHFT" + "CTRL" + "F" keys together and a box should pop up. Make the percentage between 25 and 95. Not necessary.

Now repeat the process with the first sparkly layer - you must fade this one out. "Filter", "Blur", "Gaussian Blur"; then "SHFT" + "CTRL" + "F".

Play around with the original image, gradients, brushes and textures - place things on top of the sparklies. Just have fun!

Finished? I am - check it out!
